Introduction
The following table lists the current international tournaments across France where non-French nationals can compete; players who are affiliated to the FFBA can play in any tournament. (See the FFBA's web-site for a full list of tournaments.) Foreign competitors playing in these tournaments do not need to be affiliated to the FFBA.
For more information on the French Tournament system, see the 'Key Features of the French Tournament System' on The Way Forwards.
If you need a further reason to play in one of these tournaments, consider merging a French badminton tournament into a holiday in France e.g.:
The tournament in Grenoble - one of the largest in France (early March, series A-NC) - with a ski holiday in the French Alps
A tournament in Bordeaux in June (series A-NC) or Strasbourg (A-NC) in May for summer holidays
One of the various Paris tournaments for a break in the romance capital of the world.
Or else you could simply hop over the Channel for the weekend, combining an April tournament in Gravelines (between Calais and Dunkirk) with a short stay in France / a booze cruise.
