Welcome to the new, controversial web-site for UK badminton.
The site has been set up in part to challenge the accepted status quo of badminton in the UK, to promote the adoption of a graded tournament structure open to players of all abilities and to promote the introduction of a club-based structure in the UK.
The arguments used are based around both the declining state of badminton in this country and the unrefutable success of the French model, which has provd itself beyond any doubt with its phenomenal growth; despite only being set up in 1978 the French Badminton Federation (FFBA) currently has twice the membership of the Badminton Association of England.
Full details can be found in the section The Way Forwards, which concludes by urging players to contact the various UK national associations to support the changes proposed.
